Supporting Local Farms: Pembroke Kitchens Partner with OxFarmToFork

Every Tuesday and Friday morning, a delivery of freshly harvested vegetables and other produce arrives at Pembroke’s kitchens. Within hours of its arrival by cargo bike, seasonal produce is on the menu and served to students and staff in Hall.

Pembroke’s JCR Access and Outreach Representative, Lennon Airey (2024, History), has co-founded an independent free mentorship programme for state school students across the Northeast of England. Featured on ITV News and BBC Radio 1, State Elevate pairs undergraduates from top UK universities with students from North East schools and colleges, offering free support for university applications.

Crossings in the Real: Ethnographic and Documentary Voices in Sinophone Cinema

This screening programme explores a collection of Sinophone films whose genres sit in between an ethnographic film, documentary, essay film, and fiction. The series will cover four themes, including COVID-19, Gender, Art and Society, and Rural-Urban, and will run from Feb to May 2026. Little Women: The Broadway Musical

The annual Pembroke Musical is back! Step into the world of the March sisters in this Broadway musical adaptation of Little Women. Based on Louisa May Alcott’s timeless novel and brought to the stage with a book by Allan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland, the musical traces a family’s journey through love, loss, ambition, and the passage into adulthood.
