Recognising Your Generosity
Throughout its 400-year history, Pembroke has always celebrated the generosity of its donors who make the education and experience we offer today possible. The College has a range of recognition groups which aim to bring our supporters together regularly, and enable us to thank our donors appropriately. Our donors are also recognised in the annual Pembroke Record.
The Tesdale Society
The Tesdale Society includes everyone who has pledged a legacy to Pembroke in their will, and members are invited to attend a biennial College lunch.
The Ossulston Circle
The Ossulston Circle includes our loyal supporters who have given at least £10,000 to the College. Members are invited to special events.
The Master’s Circle
The Master’s Circle includes all major donors who have given at least £50,000 to the College. Members are invited to an exclusive annual event.
The Sheppard Circle
The Sheppard Circle includes donors who have given over £100,000 to the College. Members are usually elected as honorary members of the SCR and are invited to an exclusive annual event.
Foundation Fellowships
Foundation Fellowships are reserved for our most generous supporters, currently those who have given at least £1 million to College. This is Pembroke’s highest recognition level, and donors receive bespoke stewardship as well as all the benefits of Sheppard Circle.
In addition, our major donors receive regular reporting on the impact of their support at Pembroke.
Pembroke’s Governing Body has long recognised the generosity of our supporters by naming Fellowships, Scholarships, and areas of College in their honour. From the Rokos Quad to the Harold Lee Building and most recently the Damon Wells Chapel Quad, donors have left their mark on the fabric of College in a lasting way. There are many naming opportunities within the Imagine Pembroke campaign and the Development Office will be delighted to discuss these with you.
Gifts made to Pembroke also count towards the University’s recognition tiers, more information on which can be found here: https://www.development.ox.ac.uk/donate/recognising-your-gift
