On 29th June, 1624, Pembroke College received its Royal Charter from King James I, declaring Pembroke the newest constituent college of the University of Oxford. Four centuries later, hundreds of guests gathered across our four quads to celebrate the four-hundredth anniversary of the College’s foundation. Dive into the highlights of the day below.

Seeking to reshape how we think about the law of estoppel, Joel’s article identifies the rationale of this area of law and explores its relationship to other related doctrines. “Starting Afresh: Reformulating and Reconceptualising the Law of Estoppel” was published earlier this month as one of the four Private Law articles in the 13th Edition of the Oxford University Undergraduate Law Journal, which can be found here.
