It is with great sadness that the College has learnt of the death of alumnus and former organ scholar Harry Brama (1955, Theology and Music), an organist and choirmaster whose work would shape the future of church music. 

Our Apprentice Chefs, Luke and Niamh, have gone from strength to strength this year, Luke having received his Level 2 City & Guilds Apprenticeship certificate and Niamh completing her apprenticeship to become a qualified chef. To celebrate their respective achievements, Luke and Niamh prepared delicious meals for a group of guests at High table including Sir Ernest and Lady Ryder and the Bursar.

Every year, the Collingwood Prize is presented at the Collingwood Banquet to an MCR student who has shown incredible academic achievement. The 2026 Collingwood Prize was jointly awarded to Effimia Panagiotaki (2021, DPhil Engineering Science) and Seda Öztürk (2021, DPhil Asian and Middle Eastern Studies). They shared with us more about their time at Pembroke and what being part of our MCR community means to them.
