Ken Spours is a Professor of Education at the Institute of Education,University of London and specialises in research and development in 14 –19 education and training, including the reform of curriculum and qualifications; organisation and governance; policy-making and policy learning; education and training developments across the UK and learner progression in upper secondary education. Over the last 25 years he has worked for the development of a more unified and inclusive 14 –19 education and training system capable of meeting the needs of all learners.
