My monograph Women, Poverty, Equality (Hart Publishing, 2018) explores how the concept of equality in the UN Convention on the Discrimination on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women can be interpreted to address gender-based poverty. It was shortlisted for the Society of Socio-Legal Scholars Early Career Prize. I have published peer-reviewed articles on gender equality, human rights, international legal system and public law in numerous leading academic journals.

I am the Deputy-Director of the Oxford Human Rights Hub, a digital platform that seeks to use technology to foster comparative conservations on human rights and. Along with the World Health Organization, the UN Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights and the Human Reproduction Programme, I am the executive producer of A Right to A Better World, a four part documentary series exploring how human rights can be harnessed to realise sexual and reproductive health rights.
