Believe in Him Installation Visits Pembroke

Believe in Him, created by Utah artist Tom Holdman in collaboration with the Roots of Humanity Foundation, is a 32-foot long stained glass exhibit which has travelled between Rome, Paris and London. During the recent vacation, the travelling exhibition spent a week in Pembroke's Hall and Chapel, where it was enjoyed by students, staff and visitors.

Dr Peter Claus Publishes Third Edition of ‘History: An Introduction to Theory and Method’

Dr Peter Claus, Pembroke Access Fellow and Director of OxNet and CredOx, has recently published the third edition of his book titled ‘History: An Introduction to Theory and Method’. Co-authored with Professor John Marriott, this book is an essential resource for students of historical theory and method, and can be used at both introductory and advanced levels.

The book explores historical perspectives from historiography and related areas, such as literature, sociology, geography and anthropology which have entered into productive dialogues with history. Its third edition offers an updated structure and new areas of historical enquiry and themes, including the history of emotions, video history and global pandemics.
