Trinity Prizes 2025: Celebrating Academic and Sporting Excellence and Community Building
NEWS |
It's that time of year again when we celebrate all the incredible achievements of Pembrokians, teaching staff and students alike, and their commitment to the college community. A range of awards and prize money offer college the opportunity to recognise those who have shown extraordinary leadership skills, community building and academic and sporting excellence. Students also have the opportunity to show their gratitude to their tutors by nominating them for the Teaching Excellence Awards. Many congratulations to award recipients and all those nominated for the difference they make to college life as well as beyond Pembroke!
You can find a list of award recipients below:

The MCR's current and former Presidents, Helen Murphy (2023, MPhil Economic and Social History) and Seda Öztürk (2021, DPhil Asian and Middle Eastern Studies), were also recognised, with Seda being celebrated as a 'cornerstone of the MCR.'
Two of our students, Amelia Lowis (2023, MBiol Biology) and Olivia Jones (2023, MBiol Biology), were nominated by their tutor Roberto Salguero-Gomez for their relentless commitment to the Pembroke Biodiversity Project and the college's sustainability initiatives. Amelia was described as a 'future scientific leader' whilst Olivia was praised for her 'environmental stewardship'.
Medical Student Matt Partridge (2023, Medicine - Clinical) received a Master's Award for his dedication to the Pembroke medical community and his role in setting up the Preeti Simpson Medical Society. And finally, although first-year students rarely receive a Master's Award, Lennon Airey (2024, BA History) is no ordinary first-year!
