Contemporary silversmith, Ndidi Ekubia was in College on 13th February for the presentation of her piece, generously commissioned by Brian Wilson (1948) to mark the formation of the Master’s Circle at Pembroke.

The Master and the Circle’s group of leading donors met in the Master’s Lodgings for presentations and discussion on College strategy and academic direction before removing to the Harold Lee Room for the presentation of the silver piece and celebratory toast.

Ekubia’s work is inspired by her African heritage, and uses traditional hand raising techniques to create fluid, organic forms.
