Pembroke Hosts First Open Days of 2024
NEWS |
On 26th and 27th June, Pembroke opened its doors to hundreds of potential applicants as part of this year’s first Oxford University Undergraduate Open Days.
The two days saw the tail end of a heatwave sweep through Oxford, allowing visitors to enjoy a sunny Pembroke and explore our beautiful gardens – as well as seek shade in our buildings when the sun got too much! Tours of the College took place all throughout the day with the help of our wonderful student ambassadors, who offered applicants an insight into what it’s really like to study at Pembroke, including looking around student rooms, the Junior Common Room, the Hall and, of course, Farthings Café.
Visitors could also explore College independently, as well as enjoy a free donut and refreshing cold water to cool off from the sun, before heading into the Pichette Auditorium to meet their subject tutors and ask them anything about studying their subject.
If you missed us, don’t worry – there’s still the September Open Day to go, or if that’s too long to wait, you can head over to our Instagram (@pembrokeoxford) and catch a virtual tour of College!
