400 Special Events: Music and Arts Dinner

This dinner is open to all alumni and their partners. 

Join us for a formal dinner to celebrate our rich musical and artistic talents as part of Pembroke's 400th anniversary.

Before dinner, the JCR Art Gallery will be open to view Just Looking, an exhibition of work by James Gemmill (also known for his work on numerous blockbuster movies) and Gavin Lockheart (known for his landscapes). Guests will also be treated to musical performances, as Mark Wilson, Director of Music plays 17th century compositions on the harpsichord, and the Pembroke String Quartet 1979 will be reuniting to play together in the Pichette Auditorium for the first time in 45 years! The final performance before dinner is by Patience Agbabi (1983), who will entertain with a piece about Samuel Johnson, and an excerpt from her book The Time-Thief.
