Weekend Lodge Receptionist

Pembroke College is seeking a highly motivated and professional Weekend Lodge Receptionist to join our Lodge team on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Salary: £11,773 per annum for 16 hours.

Contract: Part-time, permanent.

Hours of Work: Saturdays and Sundays, working early shifts (6.45am to 3.15pm) and late shifts (2.45pm to 11.15pm) alternate weekends.

Role Overview

The role is integral to the College's operation, acting as a key point of contact during weekends for students, staff, visitors, and conference guests. As the first impression of the College you will provide excellent customer service and maintain the security and safety of the College premises.

Founded in 1624, Pembroke College is a historic college within the University of Oxford, situated in the city centre with additional accommodation nearby. The College has approximately 50 Fellows, 200 academic and non-academic staff, 300 graduate students, and 360 undergraduates. Pembroke is known for its close-knit community, set against a backdrop of beautiful architecture and has a commitment to academic excellence.

  • Security and Emergency Response
  • Access Control and Administration
  • Patrolling and Student Support
  • Mail and Parcels Management
