Non-Stipendiary Research Associates
Pembroke College wishes to appoint two non-stipendiary research associates, for a fixed term of two years from 1st November 2025 to 31st October 2027. Successful applicants will receive College affiliation, full dining rights in College, use of the Senior Common Room in Broadgates Hall, and access to an active and engaging academic community. These posts are intended to provide a College attachment for early career researchers employed as researchers at the University of Oxford.
To be considered for these positions, candidates must hold a full-time research position at the University of Oxford for the duration of their associations and must not already have a College affiliation. Candidates should have finished their doctorate degree within the last three years, but the College will apply discretion when considering applications from those who have taken a career break.
Priority will be given to candidates whose research interests align with those of current Fellows of the College. For more information on our Fellows, please visit our website.
Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, a covering letter outlining how they would contribute to the academic and social life of the College and a statement on their research to the Academic HR Administrator (academichr@pmb.ox.ac.uk) by 12 noon on 13th October 2025. Please also send us the names and contact details of two referees who may be contacted if you are shortlisted for appointment.
The appointed applicants will be required to provide evidence of their University employment prior to taking up their post.
