Dr Valentin Jeutner

Retained Lecturer

I have been affiliated with Pembroke College since I came to Oxford as an undergraduate student in 2008. After graduating from Oxford, I completed an LLM at Georgetown University and a PhD at Cambridge University. My research activities revolve around foundational questions of (international) law - that is, underlying legal assumptions that inform the theory and practice of law.

To make international law and my research more accessible, I created the legal card game, 'The International Game of Justice' (http://jeutner.com/international-game-of-justice/), and produced the short film 'Aporia' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9D6LP8wvL0), that was shot at Pembroke).
