Dr Richard Colling
I am a retained lecturer in medicine (pathology) and DPhil student at Pembroke.
I am a Senior Clinical Research Fellow in Urological and Digital Pathology at the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences (NDS) and an Honorary Consultant in Histopathology at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I am a Fellow of the the Royal College of Pathologists and the Higher Education Academy. I spend part of my time working with the Verrill Pathology group in NDS focusing on the PathLAKE digital pathology and AI research program and part of my time on clinical NHS work where I specialise in reporting urological histopathology.
At Pembroke, I tutor the undergraduate medical students for the Year 2 Pathology course, as well as occasionally tutoring year 1 undergraduate and graduate medical students. I am also currently a part time Clarendon Scholar DPhil student in evidence-based health care at Pembroke.
