Prospective applicants welcomed to Pembroke for 2025 Open Days
NEWS |

Ahead of the autumn application period, students considering studying at Oxford are invited to explore the colleges and departments during Oxford’s three Undergraduate Open Days.
The first of these took place over two sunny days on 2nd and 3rd July 2025, when hundreds of prospective applicants and their supporters were welcomed at the Lodge by Pembroke staff and students.
Our team of student ambassadors were on hand all day to give tours of College, showing visitors our quads, student bedrooms and the Hall, and giving an insight into student life. Tours ended in the Pichette Auditorium, where prospective applicants met subject tutors and admissions staff who were ready to chat and answer questions about studying at Pembroke and Oxford.
Fuelled by our supply of free donuts, visitors left with our new Pembroke-pink Undergraduate Prospectus in hand and – we hope – a taste of what it might look like to belong to our friendly, ambitious community.
We look forward to meeting more prospective applicants on our final Open Day of the year, which takes place on 19th September 2025. More details about the day can be found here.
If you’re not able to join us in person this year, or would like to learn more about Pembroke, you’ll find lots of information and resources on our Undergraduate Applicant Hub here.

Our new digital prospectus also gives an insight into what we think makes Pembroke special, as well as providing information about our accommodation and food, opportunities and funding for students, and what Pembroke tutors from each subject are looking for in applicants.
We would love to hear from anyone considering applying to Pembroke – you can get in touch via email if you have questions, or by following us on social media where you’ll also get a sneak peak into life at Pembroke.
