Pembroke’s final Open Day of 2024

NEWS |

Our final Undergraduate Open Day of the year took place last Friday with several hundred prospective applicants coming to visit Pembroke. Despite the weather not being quite as bright as our Open Day in June, this didn’t stop the students from enjoying their visit to College.

Our Student Ambassadors, who were hard to miss in their bright Pembroke pink t-shirts, could be spotted all around Pembroke leading tours of the College grounds for our visitors. Many of the College’s tutors were happily answering questions from prospective applicants at informal drop-in sessions in the Pichette auditorium. By chatting to our Student Ambassadors and tutors, prospective applicants were able to gain insight into both academic and social life at Pembroke. We’re sure the free doughnuts outside the auditorium were another added bonus!

Alongside our Open Day, our OxNet programme was running a Pembroke Scholars event, marking the end of this year’s OxNet calendar.

It was lovely to welcome so many students to College and hopefully we will be seeing some of them in the near future as Pembroke’s newest freshers! In case you missed our 2024 Open Days, there are several resources available on our Open Days page here to give you a better understanding of life at Pembroke. Our Digital Prospectus will also give you insight into life as a Pembroke student.
