OxNet Hub School Wins Award at the Social Mobility Awards

NEWS |

Congratulations to the staff and students at Southmoor Academy, the hub school for OxNet in the north-east for winning the award in the Best School/College category at the UK Social Mobility Awards earlier this month. OxNet is an access initiative established by Pembroke Access Fellow Dr Peter Claus and is run in collaboration with several Oxford colleges and other universities.

Southmoor was nominated alongside other schools and colleges nationally. The prize recognises the school's work in raising aspirations for its young people, and its ambitious outlook for its learners.

Further details can be found on the Southmoor Academy website.
