Hundreds of Prospective Applicants Welcomed to College for Open Days
NEWS |

Donning Pembroke pink t-shirts, our student ambassadors welcomed hundreds of prospective applicants to College last week as part of Oxford University’s Undergraduate Open Days.
On the 1st and 2nd of July, school students from across the country were able to see for themselves what life in Oxford and at Pembroke might be like. With the chance to visit the University’s Departments, as well as speak to our own tutors and undergraduates, prospective applicants had the opportunity to ask subject-specific questions and get a better understanding of the courses we offer.
Our student ambassadors were on hand throughout the Open Days to talk all things Pembroke, offering prospective applicants a first-hand account of college life and Oxford’s tutorial system. It was wonderful to see the quads bustling with so many enthusiastic students who were impressed by our gardener’s handiwork and the friendliness of our students and staff.
We hope prospective applicants got a glimpse of what it might be like to be a part of our welcoming community. For those who missed our July Open Days, there will be another chance to visit Pembroke for our next Open Day on the 18th of September. There are also plenty of resources available on our Undergraduate Applicant Hub for those unable to visit us in person.
