Presentation of Environmental Research
PAST EVENT | 02 May 2023 17:30 - 02 May 2023 18:30
Join three environmental researchers for presentations of their cutting-edge research. A Pembroke JCR X MCR event - all members of the University and public welcome.
Ben Williams (Sun Bear Bio) | "Precision Fermentation and Palm Oil - Biotech Alternatives"
- Sun Bear Bio combines cutting-edge biotechnology & computational methods, producing palm oil without the environmental impact.
Selina Brinkmann (Rhodes Scholar to advance renewable energy) | "Tidal Energy and Their Potential in the Energy Transition"
- Selina Brinkmann's research concerns renewable energy, particularly how we can reduce its cost and make it more competitive.
Ramesh Wilson (Department of Biology) | "Project Hotmess: Investigating the Impacts of Temperature and Pollution on Global, Intertidal Ecosystems"
