Pembroke Biodiversity Project Bioblitz

PAST EVENT | 26 November 2023 10:00 - 26 November 2023 14:30

The Pembroke Biodiversity Project are organising their next termly bioblitz on Sunday 26th November between 10:00 and 14:30.

A bioblitz is essentially a survey of all living things, including plants, fungi, insects, mammals, birds and anything else you can find. Results from the bioblitz will be added to Pembroke's species list, which will help the Project understand what already lives on Pembroke land, how it can be protected, and how habitats for wildlife at Pembroke can be improved. It's open to all, students and staff, no experience needed, and promises be a fun day for anyone who likes being out in nature. Tea and biscuits will also be provided.

If you're interested in joining the bioblitz, the group will meet by the Pembroke sports building at the Pembroke sports ground and then head over to the Pembroke Biodiversity Site, which is just across the field. You do not have to stay for the whole event, but if you do arrive after 10am, please email or text Barbara Francik (barbara.francik@pmb.ox.ac.uk) if you can't find the Biodiversity Site.

Please indicate your interest in this form. Everyone who signs up will receive another email with further information soon.
