Pembroke is pleased to welcome the Director of Anti-Slavery International, Aidan McQuade to give a special lecture.
This event is free and open to all.
Anti-Slavery International is one of the oldest international Human Rights organisations in the world, supporting research into slavery, educating and working with local organisations to raise awareness of slavery, and lobbying governments and intergovernmental agencies to eliminate slavery. Aidan McQuade has been Director since 2006, having previously worked for Oxfam in Angola. Aidan has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Abraham Lincoln – his specialist subject when he won the grand final of Mastermind 2013.
