Morello is an expert on Latin America, with a particular focus on the relationship between religion and political violence. The D’Arcy Lecture series will address themes and problems related to the study of religion in Latin America, including, "What do Latin Americans do when they do religion?" and "What can we learn from Latin American religiosity?" 

The lectures will be held over the course of seven Thursdays in Hilary Term, all lectures begin at 17:30.

31st January:   What’s going on in the Latin American religious landscape?

7th February:   How did we get here?

14th February:   What do Latin Americans believe in?

21st February:   What do Latin Americans do when they do religion?

28th February:   How do Latin Americans do religion in the public sphere?

7th March:   What can we learn from Latin American religiosity?
