Kitchen Porter

Location: Central Oxford

Salary: £27,976 per annum 

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week in straight shifts, 5 days out of 7) 

Pembroke College, Oxford, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to be in a vital support role to a professional and friendly brigade that delivers a wide range of culinary services, from informal student meals to prestigious formal banquets.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work alongside the other members of the kitchen team and be responsible for maintaining the College’s standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen, which includes the wash-up area and kitchen. They will also assist with salad bar and vegetable preparation tasks as required in the mornings, with full training given in this area as appropriate.
