Pembroke Lecturer Samuel Recht Awarded Fyssen Young Investigator Award
NEWS |
Congratulations to Samuel Recht, Pembroke Lecturer in Psychology, Philosophy and Linguistics (PPL) and Experimental Psychology, who has recently received the Fyssen Young Investigator Award in Psychology and Ethology. The award recognizes his work on the cognitive science of curiosity and introspection.
The Fyssen Foundation, a research institute based in Paris, has been offering competitive postdoctoral fellowships and research grants since 1979. The foundation awards a yearly International Prize and four Young Investigator Awards, presented to early-career researchers who have already received postdoctoral fellowships.
Samuel shares: “I am honoured and thrilled to be the recipient of this award and will be eternally grateful to the Fyssen Foundation for their support. The Foundation has played a vital role in enabling so many scientists to fulfil their curiosity and develop their research programmes. I feel humbled to be part of such a wonderful community.”
We would like to congratulate Samuel for his wonderful achievement!
