New Alumni Portraits hung in Pembroke College Dining Hall

NEWS |

For the sixth year, a new selection of photographic portraits have been hung in the College Dining Hall to celebrate the lives of some of our Pembrokians, and the extraordinary things that they have achieved since leaving Pembroke. Chosen by the College’s Art Committee in consultation with the Fellowship and the student body, the selection is changed annually to feature six of our alumni.

The 2022 - 2023 exhibition of portraits includes:

  • Vivienne Artz (Philosophy & Theology, 1987): President of Women in Banking and Finance.
  • Erin Kennedy (History & English, 2011): Two-time World Champion, European Champion and a World Record Holder.
  • Helen Margolis (Physics, 1987): Head of Science for Time & Frequency at the National Physical Laboratory.
  • Gordon Rayner (English, 1988): Associate Editor of The Daily Telegraph.
  • Kirkland Newman Smulders (Modern Languages, 1990): Founder and Editor of MindHealth360.
  • David Titterington (Music, 1977): Head of Organ at the Royal Academy of Music.
