Future Pembrokians Visit for Offer Holder Day

NEWS |

In February, 104 undergraduate offer holders travelled to Pembroke for their Offer Holder Day, an opportunity to get to know the College community before many join us in the autumn.

The day began in the Pichette Auditorium, where students were welcomed by the Academic Director, Dr Nicholas Cole, and heard from the JCR President about life as a Pembroke student.

Over their first lunch in Hall, seated alongside others from their subjects, offer holders met those who could become their future tutorial partners and friends. Student ambassadors were also on hand to share their experiences and answer questions informally, before giving tours of College later in the day.

In the afternoon, College teams introduced the practicalities of daily life at Pembroke, from accommodation and catering to sustainability and student support, helping to demystify what the year ahead might look like.

Our Offer Holder Day is an important moment in the academic year, offering incoming students a first opportunity to begin building the connections that underpin Pembroke’s close-knit and supportive community.

We wish our offer holders every success in their upcoming exams and look forward to welcoming them back to Pembroke in October as the newest members of our community.
