Fitz Sports Awards 2021-22

The annual Fitz Awards ceremony was held on 14th June 2022. The following awards, presented at the event, are funded by the generous bequest of Pembroke alumnus Rodney Fitzgerald (1942), or “Fitz” as he was known. The bequest also funds the Fitz Awards to help those involved in top-level sport with associated expenses.

Awards were presented by the Master, the Bursar, and the Academic Director, who took the opportunity to congratulate students on their achievements.

Blue/Half Blues

The College was delighted to congratulate and offer a reward to the following students who have been awarded a Blue or Half Blue in the last academic year:

Sportsperson of the Year

This annual award is given to a student, selected in consultation with the JCR and MCR, in recognition of excellent sportsmanship and achievement in their sport. This year’s winner was Bryan Cheng (2018, Physics and Philosophy).
