Pembroke DPhil student Warren Stanislaus takes part in Japan Foundation's new 'Diversity Dialogues' series

Current Pembroke student and former Japan Foundation Fellow Warren A. Stanislaus (2017, DPhil History) participated in the Japan Foundation's new 'Diversity Dialogues' series, which brings together experts and Fellows of the Foundation to explore issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in Japan. This series is targeted towards a Japanese speaking audience and discusses DE&I from various perspectives.

The first episode of the series (in Japanese) features Warren in conversation with Professor Oussouby Sacko, President of Kyoto Seika University and Japan's first African-born university president as featured in the New York Times. They discuss diversity and higher education in Japan.
