The Trustees of the Smithsonian UK Charitable Trust invite alumni of Pembroke College to a champagne reception at The Smithsonian Castle in Washington DC on Tuesday 18th October.
The reception will take place near the James Smithson Crypt and begins at 6pm.
English scientist James Smithson (1765-1829) was an alumnus of Pembroke College (1782), University of Oxford, and the founder of the Smithsonian Institution.
