Your local Alumni Ambassador, Jeremy Sutton (1979, Physics) would like to invite you to join him and Professor Adrian Gregory on the 25th September from 6pm at Jeremy’s Art Studio in Mission District.

The event will include an explanation of the art in Jeremy’s and Peggy Gyulai’s studios, as well as a presentation by Professor Gregory: A War of Peoples: Public Perceptions of Nationalism and War, Comparing Britain 1914 – 1918 and Ukraine 2022 – 2024.

Professor Gregory will be looking at the parallels between what he learned researching his book “The Last Great War: British Society and the First World War” and what he sees now in the way the Russian people are being indoctrinated to see the Ukraine invasion as a just nationalistic war of survival.

To help cover the cost of refreshments there will be a nominal attendance fee of $10 per person. Guests are more than welcome to join you at this event.
