This series will explore lessons and debates from a generation of human rights scholarship as a dialogue between Fulbright Visiting Professor Alison Brysk and UK colleagues.
Human Rights and The Future of Migration
The fourth of our Fulbright Seminars will ask: How can the legal protection of migrants expand to meet the challenges of forced displacement and non-state violators?
Speakers:
- Professor Alison Brysk, People Out of Place (2004) and From Human Trafficking to Human Rights (2012)
- Stephen Meili, Minnesota-Oxford: refugee law and Constitutionalism
- Loren Landau, Oxford University—"Mobility, rights, and competing temporalities”
This seminar will be held in the Pichette Auditorium at 5pm on Tuesday 24th May and is open to all.
