Pembroke College's New York City Alumni Ambassador, Dalia Monasebian (2016, DipOL), is pleased to invite you to The Explorers Club, for an intellectually-stimulating and topical talk by Professor David Holland. Professor Holland is a renowned Canadian-American known for his research on the interaction between polar ice sheets and ocean dynamics. This talk will recount the hair-raising tale of his recent journey to the “Doomsday Glacier” in Antarctica, the cutting-edge science behind his research, and the significance of his research for the global population.
