Visits to Ardley Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) focus on reducing waste, recycling and seeing what happens to non-recycled waste in Oxfordshire. Please note this tour is only available to residents of Oxfordshire as per the venue requirements. 

The whole visit will last for approximately 2.5 hours. The walking route takes about an hour: Visitors will only safely enjoy their visit if they can walk approximately half a mile comfortably without a break. Boiler suits will be provided for the walking tour through the boiler hall, visitors should wear clothing that will be comfortable underneath a boiler suit. Steel toe capped boots with ankle protection are required, visitors can wear their own if available.
