400 Postcards for 400 Years of Pembroke

As part of our Access Week earlier this summer, our OxNet participants got the chance to get creative in between tutorials and lectures.

Guided by artist-in-residence Jo Dobbs, the students captured colourful vignettes of college in its 400th year, pictured below. Some even left personal messages on the back of their postcards, expressing their enthusiasm for their time at Pembroke and the OxNet programme.

“It’s been a great experience studying the subject that I love (English) in much greater depth than ever before, and really getting into all of the little details of the texts,” one student wrote.

Another student shared: “I’ve found a home at Pembroke, even though it’s been a short time that I’m very grateful for.”
