Congratulations to Pembroke College DPhil student, Benjamin Bréant, for winning the ‘Best Academic Poster’ prize from the Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Oxford. Ben, a former president of the College’s MCR, also presented his poster at the World Sleep Congress in Rome earlier this year.

Master of Pembroke, Sir Ernest Ryder, was recently commissioned by the Committee on Standards to conduct a review of fairness and natural justice and the House of Commons Standards system. Sir Ernest's proposals and recommendations will inform a final report which will be presented to the House of Commons. 

On 24th March a service of thanksgiving for the life of Professor Robert Stevens was held in the Oxford University Church. Professor Stevens, who came to Pembroke in 1993 and served as Master for eight years before being elected to Honorary Fellowship in 2001, died in January 2021 at the age of 87.
