Pembroke Takes Part in a Fully Funded Scholarship Scheme for Graduate Students from Ukraine
NEWS |
Pembroke College is proud to be part of an Oxford University Graduate Scholarship Scheme for Ukrainian refugees whose lives have been impacted by the recent war. We will provide financial support to cover all expenses related to accommodation, meals, travel, welfare assistance and other general living costs for at least one graduate student who is ordinarily resident in Ukraine, and the University will waive the course fees as well as the graduate application fee.
Starting from the September 2022, this student will join Pembroke’s thriving academic community and will have access to the Oxford Refugees Studies Centre, which will provide a variety of seminars, events and mentorship.
Pembroke College and its community unequivocally condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine and express our support for Ukrainian students and universities. We hope that this scheme will play its part in aiding students who have fled Ukraine and offer them help to support their country and rebuild it. Read more details about the scheme here.
