We continue our celebrating success series with Tatiana Foggitt (MChem Chemistry, 2018) who won a University Prize for her performance in the Part II Examination in Chemistry. We asked Tatiana to share her experience studying Chemistry at Oxford & Pembroke, and her advice for future applicants.

We are deeply grateful to the many friends and colleagues who have been in contact with the College since the tragic and untimely death of Stephen Gosztony, a Fellow, member of the College’s Governing Body and an alumnus. Stephen was a very close friend of all of us in College, a strong supporter of the University, the arts and a great deal more. We share here some of the many recollections of his outstanding commitment to and support for the College and his enduring friendships.

Brian Slater (1963, Mathematics) is proof that it’s never too late to celebrate an Oxford degree! Having graduated in absentia 55 years ago, Brian finally donned his BA gown and sat down to a College graduation lunch with his family this summer.

The Global Security Programme (GSP) has been awarded a grant by the DT Institute for a 12-month long project aimed at producing rigorous academic research that will help improve the lives of individuals and communities suffering from conflict and insecurity.

Many congratulations to Pembroke student, Oscar Lu (2021, Medicine Graduate Entry) for being awarded the Martin Wronker Prize by the University! Oscar has received this award for achieving top place across his cohort during his first-year exams.
