The College Librarian has curated a collection of relevant and recommended books for Black History Month, on themes of activism, education and anti-racism in the academy. They are displayed in the Library window, and are all available for students and staff to borrow this October or throughout the year.

Since graduating last year, Aimee Molineux (2016, Japanese) has delved into the world of medical journalism. We asked her to reflect on her time at Pembroke and her aims for the future.

Alumna Kenny Dada (2013, Modern Languages), who was recently selected for the 2022 IPA iList for her work to promote the inclusivity and diversity of the advertising industry, shares her career journey, the opportunities she has had since graduating, and her memories from her time at Pembroke.

We continue our celebrating success series with Tatiana Foggitt (MChem Chemistry, 2018) who won a University Prize for her performance in the Part II Examination in Chemistry. We asked Tatiana to share her experience studying Chemistry at Oxford & Pembroke, and her advice for future applicants.

We are delighted to share that Pembroke alumnus, Dr Andrew Miller, (1991, Visiting student, History), is to publish his first book ‘Patronage, Power, and Masculinity in Medieval England. A Microhistory of a Bishop's and Knight's Contest over the Church of Thame.’

We are deeply grateful to the many friends and colleagues who have been in contact with the College since the tragic and untimely death of Stephen Gosztony, a Fellow, member of the College’s Governing Body and an alumnus. Stephen was a very close friend of all of us in College, a strong supporter of the University, the arts and a great deal more. We share here some of the many recollections of his outstanding commitment to and support for the College and his enduring friendships.
