Congratulations to Pembroke Student Anuraag Vazirani (MSt in Practical Ethics) who has co-authored a paper entitled “Guidelines for Ethical Use and Acknowledgement of Large Language Models in Academic Writing” that has been published in the journal Nature Machine Intelligence.

We are pleased to share that research findings by Pembroke Fellow Professor Yimon Aye’s lab group have been published in the journal Cell.

The last few months have been packed with a whole host of events for alumni to get involved in; offering diverse opportunities to reconnect with friends, make new ones, and stay up to date with College news. 

A group of Pembroke students and our Biology Tutorial Fellow Professor Rob Salguero-Gómez are seeking to turn the tide on biodiversity loss through a project which engages young people in UK state schools with biodiversity. 

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Pembroke Fellow Professor Min Chen who has been awarded the 2024 VGTC Visualization Lifetime Achievement Award.

Having recently graduated from Wadham, Oxford with a Distinction in the Bachelor of Civil Law, Dane Luo is Pembroke’s new Farthing Scholar! The Farthing Scholarship is funded by the University and Peter Farthing, a Pembroke alumnus who read Law and later returned to College as an Advisory Fellow and full member of Governing Body.

Pembroke’s cohort of First Years aren’t the only newcomers to be welcomed to College this Michaelmas; we are pleased to share that Professor Rebecca Mosher and Professor Yimon Aye have joined as our newest Tutorial Fellows and members of Governing Body!

Our Alumni Weekend last month was a wonderful opportunity for past Pembroke students to come together and enjoy a packed weekend of activities.
