Pembroke's Professor Stephen Whitefield, with University colleague Professor Paul Chaisty, has carried out research in eastern and southern regions of Ukraine outside of rebel-held areas, to establish the extent to which the population support regional separatism.

The British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) hosts an annual Posters in Parliament exhibition at which students from Universities across the country exhibit on the subjects of their own research. 

Rachel Quek and Julian Barszczewski (both 2014, MSc Financial Economics) have won the 2015 Chartered Financial Analysts Society (CFA) UK Research Challenge.
