OxTALENT Award for Professor Sandra Fredman

As part of the Oxford University Teaching Awards scheme, IT Services runs a competition to identify innovative and effective uses of IT in teaching and in the support of learning and teaching. These OxTALENT Awards are presented annually and in 2014 Pembroke's Professor Sandra Fredman and her colleague Ms Laura Hilly (Magdalen) were the winners of the Use of Technology for Outreach and Engagement Award.

Professor Fredman's award recognises the pioneering work of her Oxford Human Rights Hub blog which promotes dialogue between human rights researchers, practitioners and policy-makers from around the world. The award was presented by Oxford's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andrew Hamilton, at a ceremony at Rhodes House on 24th November.
