Believe in Him Installation Visits Pembroke

Believe in Him, created by Utah artist Tom Holdman in collaboration with the Roots of Humanity Foundation, is a 32-foot long stained glass exhibit which has travelled between Rome, Paris and London. During the recent vacation, the travelling exhibition spent a week in Pembroke's Hall and Chapel, where it was enjoyed by students, staff and visitors.

World Championship Gold for Pembroke Rowing Duo

Pembroke rowers Brianna Stubbs and Ellie Piggott have taken gold at the World Championships in the U23 women's lightweight sculls competition. It was a very tight race in the final, but the determination was there to take the girls home just ahead of a very strong Romanian crew.

Brianna came to Pembroke in 2009 to read pre-clinical medicine, and is now about to start her DPhil studies with us in the coming term. Ellie also came up as an undergraduate in 2009 and completed her PPE degree last summer. Both Brianna and Ellie have spent many an hour in Pembroke boats in the past four years and we are delighted to congratulate them on their latest success on the international stage. A truly impressive achievement!
