University Prizes for Student Exam Performance

This year’s Trinity Term exam results have once again highlighted some individual excellence, with several students being awarded special prizes by the University of Oxford for their performance.  Many congratulations to them all.

Charlotte Farrar (2013, Graduate Entry Medicine) is joint runner up for the Martin Wronker Prize in Medicine.

Constantin Giurgiu (2011, MChem Chemistry) has won the GlaxoSmithKline 3rd Year Undergraduate Prize in Practical Organic Chemistry.

Wazir Khan (2013, PGDip Diplomatic Studies) has been awarded the Ralph Feltham Prize for best dissertation.

Yangcheng Li (2012, MMath Mathematics & Philosophy) is the recipient of the Gibbs Prize for Part A Maths & Philosophy.

Fitzroy Morrissey (2010, BA Oriental Studies: Arabic and Islamic Studies) has won the following prizes for his finals papers:
James Mew Senior Prize for outstanding performance in FHS Arabic language papers
Joseph Schacht Memorial Prize for outstanding performance in FHS in Islamic Religion, Law or History.

Edward Scallan (2011, MEng Engineering Science) has been awarded the Gibbs Prize for Best Part B Project.
