Believe in Him Installation Visits Pembroke

Believe in Him, created by Utah artist Tom Holdman in collaboration with the Roots of Humanity Foundation, is a 32-foot long stained glass exhibit which has travelled between Rome, Paris and London. During the recent vacation, the travelling exhibition spent a week in Pembroke's Hall and Chapel, where it was enjoyed by students, staff and visitors.

Sports Awards 2014

The Master, Dame Lynne Brindley, hosted a reception on 18th June at which the 2014 Sports Awards were presented. 31 students were awarded College Colours for a variety of sports including rowing, tennis, cricket, darts, football, pool, netball, rugby and hockey. In addition, two special awards were presented.

The Sir Roger Bannister Scholarship is presented each year in recognition of sporting prowess combined with academic excellence. This year two students shared the award: Anastasia Chitty and Alex Tsaptsinos.

A legacy gift to the College from former student Rodney Fitzgerald led to the foundation of The Fitz Awards.  These provide additional funding for College Colours, as well as for a Sportsperson of the Year award. The 2014 Sportsperson of the Year was announced as Erin Wysocki-Jones.
