Pembroke Fellows Receive Oxford Recognition of Distinction 2017

We are delighted to report that three Pembroke Fellows have been included in the University of Oxford’s Recognition of Distinction Awards 2017. These annual awards to confer the title of professor at the University of Oxford are subject to determination by a senior panel that each applicant holds an excellent record in the three specified areas of research, teaching and good citizenship.

Professor Pramila Krishnan has been appointed Professor of Development Economics. Prof. Krishnan has been a Fellow in Economics at Pembroke since 2016.

Professor Nicolai Sinai has been appointed Professor of Islamic Studies. Prof. Sinai has been a Fellow in Islamic Studies at Pembroke since 2011. 

Professor Rebecca Williams has been appointed Professor of Public Law and Criminal Law. Prof. Williams has been the Blackstone-Heuston Fellow and Tutor in Law at Pembroke since 2005.
