Dr Rebekah White and Dr Matthias Dilling Nominated for OUSU Student-Led Teaching Awards 2018

We are pleased to report that Pembroke tutors Dr Rebekah White and Dr Matthias Dilling have been nominated for awards in this year’s Oxford University Student’s Union (OUSU) Teaching Awards. These nominations are a sign of appreciation from the University of Oxford’s student body and recognise enormous talent and hard work.

Dr White is a Stipendiary Lecturer in Psychology and she has been nominated in the ‘Outstanding Pastoral Support’ category. She is a tutor for the PP and EP Prelim in Psychology (Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Social Psychology). Her research interests lie in synesthesia, memory and metamemory, body awareness in neurologically-healthy individuals and patients following stroke, and inattentional blindness.

Dr Dilling is a Stipendiary Lecturer in Politics and he has been nominated in the ‘Outstanding Tutor’ category. His research interest lies in comparative politics, with special focus on institutional development and party politics in Europe. Dr Dilling’s work is primarily focused on intra-party politics, party organisation and Western European Christian democracy.

Congratulations to both Dr White and Dr Dilling on making the shortlist. The award winners will be revealed at the ceremony which takes place on 10th May 2018 in the Oxford Town Hall.
