Alumnus Professor John Armour Elected Fellow of the British Academy

Professor John Armour (1991, Jurisprudence) (1994, BCL) has been elected a Fellow of the British Academy.  The Academy is the UK’s national body for humanities and social sciences, and its 1,400 Fellows are all leading academics elected for their distinction in the field.

Professor Armour is the Hogan Lovells Professor of Law and Finance at the University of Oxford. His research concerns are Law’s role in facilitating and regulating business activity, integrating legal and economic analysis in the domestic and comparative study of company law, corporate governance, financial regulation and insolvency.
