Lecture by Dr Ushashi Dasgupta
There's No Place Like Home - Ushashi Dasgupta is a newly-appointed Associate Professor in the English Faculty and Fellow at Pembroke. She works on nineteenth-century fiction, and her first book, The Lodger World: Charles Dickens and the Properties of Fiction, is forthcoming with OUP. She is interested in exploring what literature has to tell us about the meaning of home, and will be sharing some of her ideas during this presentation.
