‘Life, Death and Sex: Can Ethics Help?’

The North West Theology and Religious Studies Centre presents ‘Life, Death and Sex: Can Ethics Help?’, an Ethics Study Day for Year 12 students on Friday 27th November.

The Ethics Study Day has been crafted to build on topics commonly studied in A Level Religious Ethics and Religious Philosophy units while broadening knowledge beyond the school curriculum, introducing participants to university-style learning and developing collaborative research and presentation skills.

The day will include a varied programme of short lectures by university lecturers and group research tasks and is free to attend.

To book places for your school/college, please fill in the enclosed booking form and return by email to swa@asfc.ac.uk by Friday 13th November.

The North West Theology and Religious Studies Centre, launched at Ashton Sixth Form College in 2013 in partnership with Pembroke College, aims to promote the study of Theology, Religion & Philosophy above and beyond the school curriculum and offers an academic programme open to Year 12 students in state sixth forms across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

The Ethics Study Day is supported by Lancaster University and the University of Manchester.
